I am selfishly replying just to bump this post up ;) Were doing dark purple and sliver or grey for our wedding and I too really need some inspiration!
I'm doing dark purple and a sagey green so I'd love to hear what people have to say too!
Dark purple, light purple and sage green are my colors and I'm about a month out right now. What kind of things specifically are you looking for help with?
Have you seen my paper posts? I did them myself with heat embossing and the purple is BEAUTIFUL in person.

I don't have photos yet, but we took the extra satin off the hem of two of my maids' dresses and made my garters also (David's Bridal Lapis)

@christalynn11: Oooo very pretty! I'm not doing invitations for them or anything, they just want me to do like the table numbers, ceremony programs, escort cards and a cake stand. I just wanted to see some inspiration photos from the bees so that when I go meet with her tomorrow I can show her a variety of photos and see what type of style she is looking for (she isn't very sure of what she wants so I figure showing her photos would work best).
Where did you get your paper from? I ordered through cardsandpockets.com for my own wedding and am thinking I'll probably go with them again for this.
Yeah for dark purple...except people keep trying to sell me regular purple. I found dark purple paper at http://www.cutcardstock.com/. They have the Basis line and also a metallic version. Very quick and easy to work with.
Here is a mock up of my placecards. The leaf and pumpkin indicated menu choice. The copper shimmer paper is from papersource. The table numbers are 5x7 purple paper, with the numbers in silver and a couple of each of the punches down the side. Haven't made those yet!

I am using dark purple, charcoal, black and white. I am using the Adele Lamour fabric for our cake table and chandy drums in the space. The purple is the pop color throughout mixing with charcoal linens and white sofas. My wedding is in 3 weeks so i will post more pics once it is complete. The BBJ Adele Lamour fabric also has deep pink in it, but it is gorgeous and adds a pop with the purple. It almost looks handpainted.

Hey bees! So I got my first paid job doing details for a dark purple wedding next month! It is for one of my MIL's friends, but the problem is that I am just getting started with doing this so I don't have sample ideas to show her of my own. If you wouldn't mind posting some of your wedding details (like cakes, table numbers, menus, ceremony programs, place cards, etc) then that would be awesome! I've been looking some up on google just to show her so I can get an idea of the style she wants so it would be very helpful to have some more photos. Thanks bees! Or if you want to post your inspiration photos too that would be great.
