My BM are wearing dark red taffeta dresses! And my accent color for the most part is Ivory… I’m going for a very vintage feel. I want to incorporate little accents of blue (not teal) more like the look of antiqued hydrangeas but my no means do I want it to look patriotic. Has anyone ever seen this done.. I can’t find a single picture anywhere online. I did go into a store that specializes in fake flowers and held a dark red hygrandea next to the antique blue and it looks stunning! Plus we are getting married on a cliff with the ocean and blue skies in the background and I think the red will just pop with the blue sky (sigh- if it doesn’t rain). I attached two pics that are sort of along the lines of what I’m trying to do…. I’m not oppose to having other colors either like maybe a rustic yellow to break up the Red, Ivory, and Blue. I also attached pictures of the materials we are possibly using for the napkins…. we are getting married in Maine and this is the only “novelty” thing I am doing to tie together the rustic/vintage with the seaside. I have another fabric sample that depcits the colors better but dont’ have a pic. If you have any ideas or pics that could resemble what I’m trying to find it would be beyond appreciated!
