I feel like I am going around in circles in trying to decide what favours to have at the tables for our guests. We are having Halloween Glam/Dark Romance themed wedding, I want to balance the elegance of a wedding with the gothic touch of halloween.
I was thinking of coffins that would double as place cards filled with lollies.
Then I saw these Gingerbread Voodoo Dolls. Soo cute and fun.
And then I saw the Toffee Apples, wich tie in wounderfully as I am having silver apples in my bouquet.
Help? Any other ideas? Suggestions? Maybe have like a candy bar with these options?

I think the apples are on-theme while still being sophisticated. I think the coffins and voodoo cookies are a little too much.

@laura.batty: No coffins, that is kitschy, especially cardboard ones.
I love the idea of a galmorous dakr themes wedding, though.

We’re actually doing ‘dark romantic/gothy classy vampire’ for ours, we’re goths and hoping to get oct 31st for our wedding XD. Id say go with the apples, you can be goth and not tacky 😛 no offense, it just reminds me of the american mall goth or hot topic highschooler goth

I think the voodoo cookies are AWESOME, but not quite right for a wedding. Of all these ideas, the apples are my favorite.
Maybe it’s just cuz I’m a bookworm and I LOVE Edgar Allan Poe… But have you thought about a bookmark with one of his quotes about love? It would be so on-theme! Perhaps you could use a few lines from Annabel Lee? And silver print on black bookmarks would be darkly romantic.
Feel free to disregard. I know book stuff isn’t for everyone. 😉

I think i’d go with a candy buffet, and let your guests choose what kind of treats they would like. You could even include the apples on it.
Like this, but in your own colors/decor.

@laura.batty: I like the apples as well, since they are not only yummy, but very elegant as well. The other ideas are too… death and gore for me.

I LOVE the apples. They are elegant yet creepy and on theme. I think if I were a guest at your wedding, I would think that htese would be an amazing detail and touch.

I would agree with most of the others, go with the apples 🙂

@LibrarianTellsAll: I like the idea of the bookmarks, thankyou.
I am a bit of a bookworm myself, but my Hubby to Be.. not so much.. I could see him going for clasic horror movie quotes.
