Does anyone have advice on what to do for dark undereye circles?  Mine are horrid, regardless of how much sleep I get.  I've used a lot of eye creams like the Clinique ones, Oil of Olay, etc.  Most recently I've been using a $125 one from my dermatologist called Lumiere, but i really don't notice a difference and sometimes it stings.  The spa I was at earlier today was trying to sell me on a $70 vitamin K eye cream, and I trust the girl I work with but I'm starting to feel like there is no point, that my undereye raccoon circles are just beyond help.  Any thoughs?  Anyone else find success with a product?

@Magenta-  I'm a tea drinker and I have dark circles.  What type of tea do you use for this?

I have had dark circles under my eyes almost all my life (seriously, there is photogenic evidence of me with dark circles as a child!). I was told that is can be genetic- the skin under your eyes just natrually things out as you get older and the blood vessels are then closer to the surface, thus giving you recoon eyes. I've been using expensive creams for over a year with no visible change. *sigh* What I recommend is cucumber (cold cold cold!) slices or tea bags (cold cold cold!) as they cause the blood vessels to contract and sink deeper under your skin for a period of time. Basically, almost any application of a wet and very cold thing will help your dark circles. Other then that, concealer!

    Good luck!
