One of the first things my FI ever asked me after I met him was, "So... do you like Star Wars?" We joke about it all the time now, he's such a nerd. I know these are sooo not wedding-y but... my FI will be so excited to wear them.  So, I'm getting these for him to wear for our wedding.  Who REALLY looks at cufflinks anyway? :)

I'm at a sad point in wedding planning haha.  It gets so overwhelming if I don't have little nods to me and him every now and then in all of this wedding chaos.  Don't get me wrong, I love planning everything. But with 3 months (exactly!) away, I am so overwhelmed!

    How ridiculous are these?

    No pictures. = (

ETA: Also, You're lucky. The first thing my FI EVER said to me was:

"Vous êtes très joli. Dormirez-vous avec moi s'il vous plaît ?"

So after Moulin Rouge I got the basic gist of it and said no. lol.

Haha. He was a junior in hs at the time. And nothing like that. my friends used to call him prude. But we started e-mailing and hanging out at mutual track meets....so it worked!

Did you tell him you liked Star Wars? lol.

At that point, I had never watched any of the Star Wars movies!  Fast forward 4 years later, and I have seen every single one.  Btw, that sounds like something my FI would try to get away with TODAY haha.

Oh my gosh, on my first group outing with my FI our friend kept asking him about "his costume" and he refused to divulge. It took an entire night of my prodding to convince him I wouldn't run away thinking he was a nerd.... Um, ya, he's a jedi ;-)

I always tease that it's a good thing I knew he has a hockey stud first! We saw some batman one's he really liked, I'll have to show him these too! lol

Aw I think they're cute! And no one looks at cufflinks except... the photographer? But by then it will be too late and the parents cant intervene! I LOVE this idea!

I adore those! Considering my dog's name is Darth Vader and my first gift ever to my FI was the entire star wars collection of mister potatohead, I think it's great!

I think its super cute how you are incorporating this for him. He will be thrilled and it can sort of be a little inside joke between the two of you..

it will def have people asking about them if they notice.

    1) My cousin had a Jewish wedding, so he was escorted by his parents down the aisle, at the head of the procession.  Guess what his processional song was?  Yup, Darth Vader's "Imperial March".  It was pretty amazing.

    2) I got my FH's wedding cufflinks and shirt studs from Etsy.  They are watch gears with tiny rubies.

Haha that is awesome.  My FI has had the Imperial March as his ringback tone forever, but that is as far as its going haha.

Ya'll have great ideas! I was going to get FI some saints cufflinks, but now I'm not quite sure, there are so many really cool ones that I know he'll like!
