Weddingbee boards

DH and I take dancing classes (we have been dancing together since before we started dating). There are no classes in the summer, so before it starts again, the school organizes a party to get together with people and dance (opportunity to review before the actual classes).

We were supposed to dress up and go tonight. I love dancing!
But, there was a cycling tour 3h from home today as well, and hubs loves cycling. We were supposed to go, then come back and go dancing. I didn't go because I was sick all week and it would have been too hard, but DH went.

Well now he's stuck in traffick about and doesn't think we'll be able to go on our date.

I'm really bummed.

And also kind of jealous of him because he got to do his thing and I won't get to do mine. Plus, I was supposed to do homework today and I didn't...

I was so looking forward to this all week; and now I feel like I wasted my whole day.

So, he's back and just pissed about spending hours in traffic. I can understand that, but it doesn't help to make the best out of it and still spend good time together.. argh!

haha, are you sure we aren't living parallel lives? DH is doing a bike century tomorrow. I don't get to do anything fun. I had class today and am supposed to do homework tomorrow. He even went to bed early since he has to leave at 3am (the trains near our house are being a major pain in the butt this weekend) so we didnt get to spend the evening together either. aaaah well. I'll just go catch up on Teen Mom :p

Sorry your date night didnt work out. You guys can still do fun stuff at home though, just not as fun. Can still dance around the kitchen or something :D

I'll let him cool down, do his man thing, then we'll probably watch a movie.. It's no dancing, but it involves cuddling! :)

I'll take some cuddling any day!
