I would just get them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. It seems really hard not to like that kinda gift! And given the fact that you don't know them well, I'm sure they wouldn't expect a super personal gift.
Our favorite dates are the ones that are throwbacks to high school. You could do a pizza gift certificate and passes to putt-putt, lazer tag and go carts. Or a skating rink. Or bowling. I guess I just really like a little bit of healthy competition.

Looking for some creative ideas for a good shower gift. I've been assigned the time of day "date night"... a couple that I don't know particularly well that is up to try new things, but not sure if they have a "thing" that I could specifically focus the gift on.
