So, my big brother, who happens to be my best friend in the world is going to give me away and walk me down the isle. He has always been my hero and a huge part of my life (I was the best “man” in is wedding a few years ago.
I want to do the father/daughter dance with him to let him know how important he has been to me and my Fiance.
I am trying to pick a song that is fun and fits the situation. We both love oldies and punk and ska songs.

Here are a few suggestions!
Do You Realize- The Flaming Lips
In My Life- The Beatles
I’ll Be There- Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (Also, their version of “You’ve Got a Friend”)
You’re My Best Friend- Queen
Dog Bumped- Tim Barry (This would be a REALLY odd choice, but I thought I’d mention anyway)
or if you really want to throw out a wildcard, what about Boss of Me by They Might be Giants? lol
Is there a song you guys loved as kids? What about using a song that has personal meaning for the 2 of you, rather than one actually about siblings?

Not typically a good wedding song but in this setting I think using White Wedding by Billy Idol would totally crack me up…it has wedding in the title and says little sister a ton of times! haha.
Other songs I’ve seen used or suggested in a similar situation would be Sister by Dave Matthews Band, or if you guys are Disney fans You’ve Got A Friend in Me would be super cute, You’re My Best Friend by Queen…I’ll try to think of some more.

@Murphymcnasty: yes we are. Fiance and his mom will be dancing together at the same time. I’m pretty sure we’re going with
Faith Hill – You’ll Be There
It seems to fit both relationships
