So my future sister in law is getting married to my husband’s brother. Yay! Her wedding colors are silver, black, and electric blue. My bridesmaid dress is the David’s Bridal 81441 in Horizon. I’m going to do silver flats for the shoes, and probably dangly earrings with my hair curly and down, maybe with a silver hair clip or flower. I was considering a brooch for the waistband as well.
I was wondering if anyone else wore this dress or has a bridesmaid with this dress and how you accessorized it. She’s going for a glam vibe, though it’s a daytime/afternoon wedding and reception.

I would do the earrings and silver shoes like you said, but then I’d also do a big sparkly rhinestone cuff bracelet, something like this:
I don’t know about the brooch and hairpiece though…. I’d be nervous that if I wore a sparkly/flowery hairpiece that I might be doing something too similar to what the bride was wearing.

@missmess: Yeah that’s what I’m worried about. In the end the bride will have veto power. She told us to do our own thing. But I’ll run stuff by her anyways, of course. Last I heard she was planning to do a high sleek pony with waves and some volume on the top. But she’s not 100% sure yet. That cuff is super cute, I never would have thought of that since I hardly ever wear bracelets. I can’t wear a necklace so something like that would work. If I did a hair clip it would be really simple like this.
My hair will look like this.

@michiru4ever: Yeah, I never wear bracelets either, but I think it just screams glam 🙂 I don’t think a necklace would be the best with that dress anyway – there’s a lot going on around the neckline already.
I really like that sparkly hairpin! I hope you get to wear something like it, I think your hair would look great pulled back like that.

@michiru4ever: My sister wore this dress at my wedding! Hers was in pool.
She wore black pumps, a silver amethyst necklace (like a small pendant 1/2 ct at most), and her hair was down and super curly!
