I do not have an experience with David's Bridal alterations, but I have heard bad things about it. I've read that the customer service is bad, it's expensive, and the quality of work is sub-par. I would recommend taking it to an independent seamstress; it will probably be much cheaper and less of a headache.
My dress is a david's as well and I am also depating taking it there to get bustled. It fit's like it was made just for me so I do not need any alterations besides the bustle. On one hand I think how hard could that be to screw up but on the other I don't know if I want to take the chance...I'd look around and maybe get some prices from local seamstresses and then decide
I've been considering this myself. I got my dress from David's but I'm so sure I want to have it altered there. I'm going to check around for some local seamstresses.
My BMs are getting their dresses from David's and I advised they go elsewhere to get them altered. I've heard nothing but bad things about David's alterations pricing, policies, etc.

Have any of you used David's Bridal to alter your dress? I just picked mine up yesterday and I just want to know how good of a job they do.
