My dress was the David's Bridal apple trim and my venue's linens all matched perfectly. My bridesmaids had free rein to pick the dress of their choosing as long as the red matched the apple red. One BM got her dress from Banana Republic, one from David's Bridal, and one from Lord & Taylor. For me, it wasn't hard to match.
My BM dress was a DB Apple color. It worked really well for my friend's wedding. There were red roses in the bouquets and bouts which complimented the dresses really well. She didn't use red linen though. My recommendation is to get a sample swatch of the apple color.
I'm not sure if DB provides swatches so another suggestion would be to just buy a used DB Apple gown/wrap/bolero and cut a swatch from that.
Be aware that the material does make a difference. The MOH had a chiffon apple gown while the other girls and I had a satin apple gown. The shades were a bit off but not that noticeable.
I also had a BM dress in DB Apple Red. It's a very popular shade. You shouldn't have any trouble finding matching shades.
DB will sell you a swatch of the fabric for 1.00. I purchased one and brought it with me when I went shopping for stuff to match.
Just FYI, Men's Wearhouse/MW Tux has 2 different vest styles in the same shade of apple. So if you're wanting the guys to match, that's an easy way to go.
I would have the girls in a different color shoe. Mine are wearing white. Gold, silver, or black would all look really nice with the apple. Just my thoughts. ^_^ I *love* the apple color, I think it's gonna look gorgeous!
I was in a wedding and wore an apple colored dress with black shoes. The dress covered the shoes though.

Is anyone, or has anyone, used David's Bridal's apple color? Although we haven't really started looking too much, I am nervous about finding linens, centerpieces, etc. that match well. It seems that there are so many different shades of red, and I am nervous about things clashing. Any ideas?
