So I have been searching high and low for my bridemaid dresses and would love to get a dress that’s under $100 for all my girls. I found one I love form DB, Style F15701, it’s $119 so not too far what I’d like them to spend but there’s always the potential for alterations.
I know that DB give a discount for BM dresses if you get your bridal gown there. However I fell in love with an Allure dress and got it at another bridal salon.
Is there any discount if you didn’t get your dress there but have all your girls get their’s there? Or the dress cards they give out at bridal shows do they count towards BM dresses?

Lalavla: I got my dress at a different store than my bridesmaids but the bridesmaids still got a 20% discount for all ordering their dresses at the same time at the same bridal store in their city.
For David’s Bridal specifically, I will say that I got a bridesmaids dress there for my friends wedding and even though she got her dress there they would not give us a discount on our dresses because they were supposedly already “on sale” or “special” or some weird thing like that…kind of like how department stores won’t let you have discounts on “Everyday Values” etc. So I would check into that too because it may be a moot point if the dresses are already discounted in any way.

Ms_Purple: Oh that’s is a good point! The dress I like is a new one so I don’t think I’d run into any issues. I already am not feeling great about DM as one of my girls went to a coprorate HQ DB and because I didn’t get my dress from them they were less than helpful!
For anyone else I did find a coupon code, 20MAID214 for $20 off any regular price DB dress which I’m still trying to figure out if it’s an in-store coupon too. The color of the dress I want isn’t available online, but they just added a bunch of colors so I’m crossing my fingers that it might be made available soon! $99 perfect dress with tax and shipping, yes please!
I will keep this post updated as I find our details!

Lalavla: My dress shop offered me 20% off all bridesmaid dresses if they all bought them from there. They don’t even carry the style I wanted in store (alfred sung), but they were able to order them for us at the discount. Ask your shop where you bought your dress!

shorebride105: That’s a good thought, they told me I would get a 15% discount. When I looked at their limited stock most were in the $175-$190 range so more than I’d want them spending even with a discount. I may ask around at other bridal salons to see what discounts they offer if everyone buys at the same place.

Lalavla: Make sure you ask if they can get in other dresses that they don’t necessarily carry in store- most places can. And don’t be afraid to push back at them a little… most shops have a little bit of wiggle room on what they can do for discounts, etc. Good luck!
