Do you have too many, or do you want to change the style? If it's not altered or anything, you can exchange it for something of equal $$$ value. I did this with my dress... twice! 
twocatcupcake, they let you do that? I ordered my BM dress from there and the lady told me very directly that all sales are final. When I went to pick up the dress it was too big, I had lost about 10 lbs and needed a smaller size, they told me I could either pay for alterations or a new dress but I couldn't exchange for a different size. I left mad but now I'm kinda glad cause those 10 lbs are back :)
Tingting - I would just call the store and ask, maybe it varies.

I bought my bridal dress and didn't end up liking it i seen something else i really loved they let me exchange it once it was in the store... and they rush ordered my new one which just arrived...

have you tried to change or even cancel your david's bridal order? were you able to do it? in my case, it's the bridesmaid dresses that i want to cancel the order of.
