I would call and ask. I’ve read on here that people have exchanged before, but when I bought my BM dress for a friends wedding they made a point to tell me that I could not for any reason trade in, exchange, or return the dress.

My sister just went to pick up her BM dress and they told us they could size exchange it for her for up to 90 days after she picked it up.

My friend bought her wedding dress at David’s Bridal. When we went shopping with her for our bridesmaids dresses, she found a totally different dress that she loved much more. She bought that one, and after much schmoozing and begging on my part, they told us we could return her other dress. It was unaltered with the tags still on it, though she had bought it 3 months previous.  So, if they tell you they won’t return it – keep pushing, but be nice about it. We were lucky enough that they relented.

It probably just depends on the store and the manager.  Some are helpful and some, like the ones in my town, are anything but!

When you pick up the dress they make you sign your receipt that states you understand there will be no returns or exchanges. You would pretty much have to prove they did something wrong during the ordering of the dress to get an exchange. Good luck.

I exchanged a dress there.  I only had it 2 weeks and bought a more expensive dress (which I am now trying to sell, but that’s another story).  I would definitely call ASAP and change your order, since it isn’t in anyway.
