I am actually in a wedding one week before mine. Ach, right?
Anyway, I due to the expenses of the wedding, I have put off buying a dress. I did go try some on, and have a handful that I do like. I in fact bought one that was on clearance. It fits and we all liked it well enough. It was not my FAVORITE though. The other bridesmaids dresses are chiffon and mine is cotton. The bride said she did not care that mine would be different. And, I really like my cotton dress, but I am still on the lookout for chiffon. They told me that orders are at 8-12 weeks, so I am cutting it close.
I have found some styles in the outlet section online that I think would be adequate, if worse comes to worse. I just hate the idea of ordering a chiffon dress, even though I love the look and feel of them, at full price, because I will never wear it again, and will probably not get a whole lot of resale value.
I know/am hoping DB is releasing their Fall Collection in the next few weeks, and am hoping that some of the chiffon dresses I was looking at will get moved to the Outlet. Should I take this chance, knowing that if it falls through, I do at least have the cotton dress? Or, should I order the chiffon that way I KNOW I will have a chiffon dress I like, just in case I feel odd with all the other girls wearing chiffon?
