I'm not going to be any help, but I'm going with Marine. It looks less tealish in person than online.
You can buy swatches for $1.00 in the store. I meant to do this, but forgot... It might help you match other wedding related items.
Yeah I grabbed swatches of both colors before I left. Marine was really pretty in person.
When I started looking for colors my choices were between blue velvet and horizon as well. But when I told my David's Bridal consultant that she said that while both colors are nice, they are starting to make less and less dresses in the blue velvet. Since I had yet to choose an actual dress, I decided to go with the horizon to be on the safe side. You may want to keep that in mind when deciding. Both are very pretty colors! Oh, that is good to know, thank you! The consultant working with me didn't tell me anything about that...she just kept saying "now you see dear, Horizon is lighter than Blue Velvet."

I was in a wedding May and we wore Blue Velvet dresses and our bouquets were white with some flowers that were painted/or dyed blue with silver bows. It was pretty. I will attach a pic or two to show you. Or anyone can email me if they want more pics.
I think the marine looks better. I plan on having it be my main color for my wedding :)
I went to David's with my ladies today to order our dresses in Blue Velvet and was told that the color is completely discontuined as of today. (with the expection of one style) We switched to the Marine. I felt that when I looked at Horizon was too bright for what we were looking for.

I took my first trip to David's today to see some bridesmaid colors in person - wow, so much more helpful than trying to look at the colors on their website. Still, I can't decide between Horizon and Blue Velvet. Has anyone used either of these colors for their ladies' dresses? Any photos? I really can't decide. I held up two dresses in each color and tried to imagine them with the bridesmaids' bouquets, but I think either one would look fabulous... I'll have to see if my bridesmaids have time to check them out in case they like one more than the other.
