What a nightmare!
How did you ladies deal with the onslaught of unwanted phone calls and emails from David’s Bridal “partners”?
I went to Davids to just try on dresses and get a grasp at what I looked best in … and found a dress there I liked. Now, i’m seriously considering NOT buying anything from David’s, because of this!
When I gave them my information, I asked if it would be used anywhere else – I was assured, no. Since then, there’s at least 6 emails coming in a day, and i’ve gotten 9 phone calls. Each time, I ask the caller (Generally Mens Warehouse) to please remove me from their list – and am met with serious attitude! They haven’t stopped calling – any ideas on how to get them to leave me alone?!?

Get on the do-not-call list, tell them you’re on it, and if they keep calling you’ll file a complaint with the FCC?
They aren’t exactly telemarketers, so it may not work, but it’s worth at least trying at this point

It’s just SO frustrating! (Especially when my cell is blowing up at work!)

That’s pretty much the reason I didn’t go w/ David’s Bridal. Well, also because they were so rude any pushy. I just couldn’t take it. They suck!!!
When David’s Bridal actually called me multiple times I eventually told them I had already found a dress elsewhere (although I hadn’t) and that everything else they were trying to push (photograohy, bridesmaid, etc) was all set too. They stopped calling after that.

The last time they called, I asked them if they could please not call me anymore. It seemed to work. Maybe just ask them?

@DaneLady: I’ve been asking, nicely, too!
I went to David’s outside of NYC (where I live and will be getting married) and i’m getting so much spam from vendors near the store! Also: on a side note, Has anyone truly chosen a vendor based on their phone calls and emails? It seems to me, the equivalent of getting cat-called on the street. It’s unwanted, and never works.

The lqst time men’s warehouse called me, their 50th call, I answered and told them we had our suits and everything else. They have not called again since. Might work for pushy David’s as well.

I was getting tons of emails and I just unsubscribed to all of them and it stopped. I didn’t get any calls but I would be majorly angry if I did.
Tell them you’re on the DNC list and to remove your number. If that doesn’t work, you could have some fun and call them every few minutes then ask them if they like the constant calls. LOL.
