@kaysix6la: I am using Morgan Gallo Events for the week before and day of coordination. I am doing great planning on my own but needed someone local to handle all the coordination with vendors the week before and the whole day of. She's been great so far. It is $1050 for that specific service and goes up from there.
I've also heard great things about Bonnie at First City Events. I think she is in the same price range or slightly less.
Another that I've heard good things about and I think is less expensive is Posh Petals and Pearls.
May I also suggest Lavish Affairs by Yalonka Mitchell. She is new to the event planning business but have been planning events for years. She has just recently decided to focus into event planning. She is really good and wonderful to work with and pays attention to details. In todays wedding industry, you need people who pay attention to details. It's all about the details. I highly recommend her. I'm an event planner/rental from out of state and she come highly recommended. Let me know if you need her contact number.
Thanks

So, I am looking for a very affordable day-of coordinator in Savannah, GA for next April. It is not in my original budget but the more I think about it the more I want one. My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and she was going to be doing a lot of the planning/ coordinating because she is a pro at that kind of thing. However, now that she will be doing chemo until a month before our wedding, I really want her to be able to enjoy herself and not sweat the small stuff on the day of the wedding so a DOC could really help. Any ideas?
