I am paying my doc the same that I make an hour at my job (I don't get paid hourly, but I did a breakdown). Here is my original post on this:

I hope this helps!

Hi Ladies,
I know I have seen some posts about this before but could not find one specifically for the midwest (may not really be that much different). I am hiring a DOC and she thought an hourly rate would make the most sense. I am totally fine with that but don't know what a fair and reasonable hourly rate would be. She will be helping me the week before but the bulk of her time will be spent the day before, day of, and day after (returning linens, etc.) Anyone know what the right hourly rate should be?
Many thanks!
