I'm working with Kelsey from Sugarcomb Events - she is really great. I gave you her dot come and here is her blog
Good Luck - If you need any additional assistance don't hesitate asking
I highly recommentd Nancy Skipton - http://simplycelebrations.com/
I am using her full service package because I am very needy. She goes above and beyond and works with your budget. If you want my name to give her, please pm me.
I love ours, Sydney Fee with Your Day Your Way Event Planning. She is a rockstar and gave us a huge discount when I told her that we couldn't fit her into our budget.
Rachel Waldron from www.LetsKlink.com. I'm just using her for DOC but she still helps along the way. My wedding wasn't for a year when I met her but I hear from her all the time. She is really organized and is a great person.
hi!
i used sydney fee with "Your Day Your Way Event Planning". she was the best thing i could have asked for besides a groom that shows up and good weather!! seriously. she's so on top of things and knowledgeable and has the foresight that made me put 100% trust in her and my wedding details. she also didn't appear to be stress, or overwhelmed at any point - she was very calm and collected, which helped me be calm and collected. i would recommend her in a heart beat and would use her over and over and over if i could. She won second place for king 5's "Best of Western Washington" contest. she's also VERY affordable.
Mention that Chris and Stephanie's wedding recommended you! You should be able to get 10% off her services!!
here's her website...

she's in the process of updating her website, so don't be fooled by the "antiquated" website.
Congrats and good luck.
We are using Bobbi Roth and adore her! Not only is she our Day of Coordinator, she is more then willing to let us run anything else past her. She has just been a real treat to work with and I am confident she is going to make our day just as easy and carefree looking as can be. :)
Tell her Teresa sent you :)
We went with Shannon Lassen of Sublime mysublime.com . Like you, we had a reception site that was not the same as the ceremony site. A DOC makes the logistics go seamelessly. I highly recommend going that route!
OMG! Bobbi Roth saved my life! We had a LOT of DIVA's in my wedding entourage (and not one of them was ME) and she just coolly held onto the reigns and rocked the rehearsal, wedding and after the wedding! She is just tremendous and so sweet to work with. She keeps it on a high schedule, but you didn't feel like you were on a schedule! We were around 20 minutes early for pretty much everything :) Which gave us lots of time to just sit, relax and eat!
Miss Pretzel is also using her!
YAY
Her FREE Report was a really nice piece of information for me as well
I'm going to have to chime in on how great Bobbi Roth is. I contacted her based on the recommendations from this thread and once I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was the planner for me. :) I was planning a wedding and a cross country move all at the same time, and even though I technically was only hiring her for Day-of-Service, she was more than willing to help recommend vendors when I let details fall through the cracks and put things off until the very last minute (Thank you iloveblush.com and paisleypetals.com for being so flexible with me!)
My wedding was held two days ago and went off without a hitch. I was 10 minutes late to the ceremony, but somehow the music queues went off without a hitch and none of our guests were any the wiser. :) She handled all the timing details for us, never pressured us, was cool as a cucumber, and had doublesided sticky tape for wardrobe malfunctions. ;) My Hubby and I couldn't have asked for a better planner. :)
Can you please include how much your DOC charges? I'm somewhat interested and need to figure out how it fits into the budget. My other option is having my family friend do it (who offered).
At the time we booked with Sydney Fee at Your Way Event Planning, the regular price for her basic package (which is pretty comprehensive in my opinion) was $700.
We got a discount off that price, and I wouldn't hesitate to say that Sydney's team were the most underpaid vendors we hired. They worked their butts off, and I felt like we were paying them a pittance. They ended up being the only vendors we gave a substantial tip to - and we had some fantastic vendors, so that's saying something.

Hi All,
Do you have a reccommendation for a day of wedding coordinator in the Seattle area? I am planning a ceremony and reception at different locations and having a coordinator maybe helpful.
Thanks.
