Hi, I’m currently researching day of coordinators to hire the day of my wedding – does anyone know of any good, reasonably priced DOCs?
and speaking of reasonably priced DOCs, what <span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-style: italic”>is a reasonable price? A couple people have quoted met at about 2% of your total budget, but I’m not exactly sure what is reasonable and what I should be looking for…please help, thanks!!

I helped out an acquaintance once for $200 for the afternoon/evening and I think she thought that was really rasonable since she couldn’t pay what others wanted. I think it was closer to the $500-1000/day range.
I think it really depends on what you want them to do and how much you expect of them.
With the acquaintance – she was really organized. I merely had to help direct the vendors to the set ups, and double check all the lists they had, manage some of their cultural components, and work on getting the bridal party/family to the right places at the right times. If that’s all you need, you should ask someone organized you know or check around the forums on the knot. If you need more, than I would hire a professional who does that everyday as their living. HTH
