@shirley: if you don't get great referrals, definitely put feelers out on you local section of the knot. you may also want to put a craigslist ad out explaining what you're looking for and interview from there.

I know that our officiant does DOC work as well. Her business is An Event to Remember and her name is Johanna Respini. She was been very professional to work with so far. And her services are very affordable. She is based out of Salem though...

Anyone have a good source or recommendation for a DoC? I'm googling and not very happy with what I'm coming up with. We'll be marrying at a venue that is not often used for weddings so I think we'll probably need one so (my parents and) I can enjoy the day without going too crazy.
