So I have a question regarding florist logistics on the day of….
I’ve been in weddings before where the florist delivered the bouquets/boutennieres to where they needed to be (where the bride and groom were getting ready) and then also delivered to the venue to set up for the reception. At least that’s the imperssion I was under, unless I’m not remembering it correctly.
Is this common? It would be so helpful, but I have a hard time believing that a florist would deliver flowers to three separate locations. I’m in the process of trying to find a florist, but I don’t know how important it is to find a florist that is closeby, in case I need to pick the flowers up the morning of.

Our florist delivered flowers to the church (bouquets, bouts, corsages, altar flowers) and then to the reception site as well. We were getting ready at the church, so it was two locations for us. Delivery is pretty standard but details will depend on the individual florist you go with.

Our florist delivered to our ceremony and to our reception hall. She charged extra for the extra delivery. She also charged extra to set anything up so my DH and the GMs did it. Your florist will probably be willing to do just about anything but will charge extra.

Our ceremony and reception hall are in the same building, but our florist will set up both rooms, as well as move the flowers from the ceremony when it’s over to the reception. Our florist and his team will also be around beforehand to help the groom and his groomsmen with their boutonnieres…which is one less thing that I have to worry about!!
