HELP! So, the salon I get my haircut at is conveniently right down the street from where I’m getting married! Called today – they don’t open on fridays until 1pm! They said if I needed them to open earlier it’d be an extra charge. I asked how much – they said it depends. If it was like an hour earlier it’d prob be about an extra $100 charge. I didn’t even ask how much extra it would be for several hours!!
So, I know 1 pm is never going to work for 8 ladies to get their hair done and be on time for pictures and a wedding at 5:30.
But, what time is good? Bc I’m now realizing I better get a clue on this. haha

@sarg88: I got married at 3pm on a Friday. I got my hair done at 9am with my bridesmaids (the salon closed to other customers and just did us at that time) then make up about 11. Had some lunch and bubbly at home. I got into my dress about 2pm then some family photos at home before hopping into the cars to go to the church at 2:45pm. I was only 5 minutes late. Not sure if this helps? Maybe push my times back a couple of hours as a guide.

I got married at 4:30 on a Friday, and I had my hair and makeup done at 9AM. We did pictures before the ceremony so in order to squeeze in pictures and get everything else figured out I had to do it then.

Our ceremony is at 4, and we’re meeting for photos and stuff at 2:30. Our salon is blocking off 11:30-2:30 for us to get ready/get hair and makeup done. We have myself and three bridesmaids getting hair done and just me having makeup done, plus lunch and getting dressed/the girls doing their makeup.
