Mine isn't an option in your poll-- everyone in the same dress but a different color
Find some pics to show your FI - the same fabric/color/length, but in different styles to suit everyones different shapes can be AWESOME.
We are doing all the same dress, but I may put a red sash around my MOH! =)
I prefer the look of every one in the same dress, same color.
I did everyone in the same dress but I chose different colors for them to wear, MOH and Bridesmaid are in one color and my jr bridesmaid is in another!
I went with this style:

MY MOH is a busty girl and my sister (bridesmaid) is your average 14 size...then My jr bridesmaid is super skinny! So these will all work on their body type!
I prefer different dresses in the same color and general shape. Mostly because the BMs can pick a dress that looks good on their body type, fits their budget, and hopefully, a dress that they may want to wear again. I have a closet full of BM dresses that will never see the light of day. I also think it looks a little more modern. Of course, if you are paying for the dresses, then I think that changes everything.
Mine is also not an option: different style, different color. I basically assigned a color to each bridesmaid and told them to find a dress they liked (with my approval, of course).
My MOH is in aa differnt style/designer/color than the rest of my girls. The rest of my girls are in the same color/same designer/ different style.
I was planning on letting them choose their own. Than I took my sister shopping and showed the other 2 her dress and they both said it's perfect. So now they will match.
my 'maids are in malibu blue from davids bridal, and my MOH is in the same dress, malibu blue, and we're adding a red fabric around the rouching around the waist :)

So, I am going with my MOH next week to look at dresses, for both she and I. She lives 15 hours away from me, so we have had zero chance of doing anything wedding together. I have deliberately not been seriously looking at bridesmaids dresses until she and I could at least talk about them. So I have a few ideas of what I would like the girls to wear, colour, fabric, basic design etc. But I am somewhat torn as to how to set up the party...I like the idea of everyone in the same dress. But I have some different shapes in my party (full busted, totally flat chested, tall and short) and I have a feeling it's gonne be a challenge to find a body friendly outfit for everyone. I tossed the everyone do their own style in one fabric/colour thing at my FI, he is totally against it, so that's out (and I don't mind actually). Or we go with my MOH in one style, BM in a second style.
What are YOU doing, or what have you seen done and liked/disliked in a bridal party? All the GM will be wearing the same suits, including groom.
