If you're looking for something affordable, try looking on Lifebooker.com to see where you can get a good deal -- you can save a lot of money that way. Just make sure to do your research on the places you find there (like on Yelp or something) because sometimes they are more functional than spa-like.

I second Great Jones Spa. Just took fiance there for Christmas. They have a "waters lounge" with hot & cold plunge pools, sauna & steam room, and snacks. You get to relax as long as you'd like. It really extends the spa experience!

I'm taking DH on a long V-day weekend and would love to get massages and pedi's. Some of his secret faves! We are staying at the Muse but they do not have a spa. Can someone make a suggestion please. I'm not really looking for a hair salon, but for a day spa feel. I would love some help! There's way too many to google LOL. Thank you in advance!
