But anyway - I'd print a picture out and make sure you stick it somewhere obvious (stearing wheel of the car is a good idea). This should get the point across!
That whole ebay/ jeweler website picture is sketch! I don't have the guts to start sending my boy pictures either :(
:D i had the guts to send him pictures and kept sending them and kept sending them and got obsessed with sending the best ring in the best quality for the best price. in the end, he told me that he could find his own deals and he didn't need me sending him the pictures because he could handle it. so as a reformed picture sender i say send him at least one pic of something you came across and thought was cool...
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to do the "oh so I was looking at shinies on the interwebs and found one that was awesome, so I went to look for it elsewhere, and haha the ebay one was photoshopped..." thing. I'd probably email them and ask for an actual picture.
Maybe I'll wait a bit, we're going to a wedding tomorrow. Or not, we've been semi-talking of this stuff for a while.

So I figure with bf being all "I'd have to be prodded" with regards to moving forward, I'm well within my liberty to daydream. I think Mr, I'd-like-for-our-wedding-to-be-in-Aruba is waiting for me to let him know, but I'm not one for prodding, so we are at an impasse... waiting on waiting... who will move first? (insert dramatic music of your choosing)
Anyway, I had a recent bout of procrastination and ring-searching.
I recently found "the ring" on ebay... and today decided to see if I could find the official/inspired/knockoff...
Ebay ring picture is totally stolen from the "official" ring, and you can totally see where they've taken the logo out and engaged in some other photoshoppery, like just plunking the sale-stone right over top of the original stone...you can see the prong from the official-princess poking out on the left. I think I'm on the floor. (darn you mr laughy face for not working!)
Ebay ring has more weight overall, the shape(heart) I want, better color, and similar clarity if I go for the cheaper of the official. Ebay ring is also cheaper by 2-3k... The seller has a good rating, but the photoshoppery is shady.
Regardless, I would need to show them to my boyfriend... and I don't have the cajones for that. >.> Maybe I will show them to him: "I was being a silly today and came across this awesome shiny... and then I wanted to see if I could find it elsewhere, and found that the ebay one was photoshopped! lulz!" ... right.
I just felt compelled to share this, that's all. At least if I don't show him, I've shown somebody...
