I'm planning a trip to DC for the 1st time this summer and the reviews on Trip Advisor are really helpful. I've been surfing it this week!
I stalk that website hahaha we know where we are going, but still have a hotel to book in LA, so I go on and stalk the reviews and pictures on a regular basis!! It's soooo much cheaper than going on vacation hahaha enjoy it :)
Another good one to check while while planning a trip is VirtualTourist.com You can create an account and review places you have been. Its also includes Tourist Traps which is really helpful!
I love Trip Advisor. We found our honeymoon resort by reading reviews on Trip Advisor!
I'll have to check out virtual tourist.
My only fear is if I don't break the TA habit, I'll spoil part of our trip by not being surprised by our destination.
Anybody else feel if they surf TA too much they've ruined their vacation surprises?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE TripAdvisor...i've planned all our vacations based on TA reviews and research! I even love to research trips for other people!!! I am currently TA-addicted to Lake Tahoe reviews, since i'm going there this summer with my boyfriend/soon-to-be-fiance. And my dream honeymoon trip for us is BORA BORA next year, so i've already started researching that! I'm on TA at least 2-3 times daily! The best site ever!
I am on there all the time!! Love it!!!!!!!!! Used TA to plan our honeymoon to Costa Rica.

This is absolutely addicting! I am in love with the caribbean and the FL keys I tell you!
Who else has it bad for tripadvisor? I'm in love with that darn site! Like a vacation every time I go to lunch, as I just browse pics and scope out more info on the places we're narrowing down (for honeymoon/small destination wedding)!
