@Leprechaun: I am also looking for a Dayton area seamstress for alterations and haven't had much luck with responses. I did come across Naree's Custom Alterations at 649 Watervliet in Dayton phone number (937) 252-2289 but I don't know a whole lot about her/them. A lot of people recommended a woman named Lorie Schur who works out of her home in the Fairfield area (more toward Cinci than Dayton) her number is (513) 825-1987 but I'm still looking for someone who is a little more truly local.

Are you living here in Dayton now?

I ended up calling Lorie Schur, because her name kept coming up again and again when I googled seamstresses! I live in Centerville, so it wasn't that bad of a drive (and gave me an excuse to go to the Kenwood mall!). Tbh, the main reason I went with her was because she was able to squeeze me in this weekend so that it will be done before the wedding! Will let you know how it comes out.
