I voted for march 13, but I can really do any day except March 5-6.

Any of those weekends work for me.

Although I like the venues that have buffets/mimosa/bloody mary bars.

I can do the first or second weekends, but the second (March 12 and 13) would be best – either day is fine with me, too, but more places seem to have brunch Sunday.

@ddw:  Sorry – I totally missed that!  Masa 14 also has awesome brunch.  It’s not buffet, but you can order unlimited things from the menu and get bottomless mimosas/bloody marys for a set price (I think it’s $35?).  There are TONS of great places that serve brunch in DC, though.

Yeah so March is a tricky month, since I’ll be gone half of it now, but March 26th or 27th would work best for me.  Masa 14 has some awesome caipirinhas πŸ™‚

I’m getting Married March 20 and my 30th birthday is March 26, so I’m probably not attending (a bit busy!)

BUT I wanted to 110% recommend a fantastic amazing place for a girls brunch.  CoCo Sala.  By amazing I mean INSANE. It’s SO good.  And it is near both gallery place and metro center, so people on every metro line can easily get there.  The food is SO good – one of the best brunches I’ve had in DC…and they’re drinks are good, too.  They have a fixed price brunch menu as well as a la carte.

That would be my recommendation – totally worth every calorie.

Found this thread just in time!  I think I’m available all of these dates, but my preference is for Sundays.  I’m still new to wedding planning, so all my Saturdays are being spent venue-shopping.

Also, I know it’s not quite as gourmet or in the district, but there’s a Silver Diner next to Clarendon Metro that would definitely be able to take large groups with short notice.  Just a thought.  Of course, bottemless mimosas sounds WAY better!  πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to meeting some local bees!
