I am going to a wedding at the Newton White Mansion this weekend and the hotel where the room block is the Comfort Inn Conference Center in Bowie, MD.
It's not my personal experience but maybe it will help you out.
Hmmmm, there are so many hotels in DC, what general area are you looking? Downtown (dupont, chinatown?) or elsewhere?
WHat hotel block are you using for MD? We might have our reception in Mitchellville, MD, very close to Newton White Mansion
@NJmeetsBX: I am looking at hotels neat NWM as well. I was thinking about the Greenbelt or New Carrollton areas. It's not too far down the beltway and free parking for guests. Let me knwo if you come up with anything
I'm still clueless about DC but for MD I have narrowed it down to these 4 hotels based on reviews and amenities. I still have to reach out to them for rates but thought I would give you an idea of where I am starting. Radisson Hotel Largo, Holiday Inn Express Largo, Courtyard by Marriott New Carollton, and the Hampton Inn Bowie.
Let's keep each other posted! It seems like we are all in the same boat with hotels near NWM.

hey DC brides! I have some idea of hotels in DC but I would like to hear experiences/recommendations from brides that have used hotels in DC for their OOT guests. We are getting married at Newton White Mansion but would like a hotel block near the venue (in MD) and one or two in DC proper.
Your recommendations and experiences are appreciated.
