Liquor can't cross state lines, but it's not like cops search your car when you walk out of the store. Not trying to get you in trouble, obviously, but DE would be a good place. Depending on where you are in MD, it's not a terrible drive and you skip sales tax. Just a thought. Don't stone me! lol
There is a place called Corridor...I think it is in Columbia. One of my BMs swears by that place in terms of liqour prices.
@RayRayFurious: haha! thanks! I'm actually in DC so it would be about 2 hours. Good to know.
Oh yes! I have heard of Corridor. I believe there is one in Laurel as well. Thanks!
A friend told me she used Calvert Woodley Wine and Spirits on Connecticut Ave near UDC. She bought a bulk amount of alcohol for her August 2010 wedding and claims it was very affordable.

We'll be going to the military class 6 store at Walter Reed/Bethesda Military Medical Center. Since it's military we'll avoid taxes and I've always found their prices very competitive. Definitely check it out if you're nearby and have military connections (or whatever base you are nearest)

Hi Metro DC Brides. We are providing our own liquor and I would like your suggestions for where to purchase liquor in bulk. We plan to check BJs and my brother is a retired Marine so I plan to check out the commisary on base.
Any other places you can suggest? From what I understand the liquor can't cross state lines. Our wedding is in MD.
