i'm scheduling an engagement session with our photographer, and wondering if anyone has recommendations about places we could go to take pictures?

Too bad you didn't take the pictures earlier or you could have gotten the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin! What about the steps of the Lincoln Memorial? I saw some of those and they were so cute!

i know, we totally missed the cherry blossoms! it's so crowded down there though when they're blooming, it would've been a little nuts. going down by the mall and memorials is def an option...

The roof of the kennedy center has some really amazing views. You could also do some in your neighborhood -- they're all pretty different and might be nice for capturing your personalities.

For memorials, I really like the Jefferson just because people don't usually make it there (except during cherry blossoms).

Oh I agree about Jefferson! That memorial is pretty nice and it is usually pretty empty.

I think the Arboretum is nice too and so is around the Tidal Basin but our photographer --- Blue Lotus - took us there at sunset --- not crowded and not hot.

I think union station and the tidal basin area would be beautiful.

If you are looking for something different, I almost considered McKee-Besher's Sunflower fields in July. I have never seen them but apparently the park has FIELDS of sunflowers that are just stunning and is located in Montgomery County.
