We'll be meeting at July 22nd, 6pm (feel free to meet us late if need be) at Ping Pong, for Dim Sum and Happy Hour. The address is 900 7th Street NW, 20001. Gallery Place is probably the closest Metro stop (yeah?), although Mt Vernon Sq 7th St will get you there too.

Anyone coming who wants about a dozen invitation samples from wedding paper divas??? I am going to throw them away otherwise.
I'm a probably- I work in Baltimore and who knows what traffic will be like :) I'll try to leave the office around 5 and see you all when I get there. Fun!
Aww, I wish I could come, but I am flying off to a wedding that day. I've been to Ping Pong Dim Sum though and the food is really good. Their cocktails are also awesome. Have fun!

Hi all! I found Weddingbee a couple weeks ago and have been addicted ever since, I think I've gone thru just about all the blogs so far (lol) but haven't ever posted...this is my first post! Could I come anyway?

HELL. YES!!!!! Haven't changed my location on here yet (I'm now in Bethesda, MD, not Cleveland anymore) but I'll for SURE be there. I'll try to get my best friend to come as well (she's getting married March '11). I don't think she quite "gets" the 'Bee but hopefully this will get her hooked. I'm SO exciteddd!!
I'm with my running group on the Mall until 7, but I should be able to make it up afterwards! So my probabley is more like a heck ya! :D Assuming I'm not to gross from the heat. :D

@daniellemybelle: I know! I can't believe how many people are coming. :) Good thing we found a place that takes reservations.....
Does anyone want to volunteer to call and get us a table? Maybe for 15ppl? (there're always a few people who say they're coming and then something comes up at the last minute; that's what happened to me at the last get-together!)
We can always pull up a few extra chairs if need be. This is going to be awesome!

Is anyone else from Baltimore taking the Metro? I forget what stop I am going to (I'm still new here!) but I thought I might throw that out there in case anyone wants a train buddy!
I'm really going to try... Can't wait to have another reason to talk about wedding stuff, and to finally meet so many of you that I've read so much about!
@daniellemybelle: That would be great if you could call! Maybe we should make the reservation for 18 instead; there are a few "I'm bringing a friend" mentions in the comments here that aren't counted on the poll above!

can someone who gets there early put a sign on the door or something about where you are? i have tried to go to more than one happy hour where i never found the group i was trying to meet........

Although if someone has an iPhone4 (and there is wireless there) I'd so give someone my phone number so I can say hi on facetime and feel like I'm there... :D

Ah, this sucks! I have a friend's baby shower that day (and she's moving out of the country 3 days later, so there's no way I can miss it).
