I’ve decided to have her birthday party at a local Orchard. They have a pumpkin patch and I wanted to do a pumpkin painting/decorating party. Basically, it costs $150 for up to 10 kids, includes ice cream and donuts for the kids (they’re locally made, from the apples picked out of the orchard) includes decorated picnic tables, the kids pick their own pumpkin, games and entertainment as well as a goodie bag for each kid to take home. Do you think it would be fun? I know it’ll be messy but I was planning on bringing garbage bags that I cut holes in for the kids to protect their clothes. Most of her friends are older so I think it would be fun for them as well.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I agree that it would be good for a spread of ages, too.

That sounds like such a blast for kids of all ages. Kids love hands on activities and the parents can help out as well.

My son turns 2 in less than a week. Though I don’t know if that kind of party would be good for a 2 year old. Their attn span is so small. I know my son wouldn’t want to do that stuff other than run around. I could see definately for the older kids but 2 might be a little young for this kind of party.
We are having my son’s party on saturday and just doing the grandparents over and one set of aunt/uncle since the other aunts/uncles are out of town/state. Very low key.
