Deep Breath! It's very common and a lot of people MAIL them on the deadline date. Give them a week to come in and if you still don't have them, start calling :-) We had a lot MIA on our deadline date but lots came in a few days later.
I know! It's like, why is this so hard? It's addressed, it's stamped (in our case we printed the persons name ON the response card), all they have to do is make a few marks and put it in the mail! Is that too hard? Are we asking too much?
ETA: @Sunshine: That's good to know!

Really.... EIGHTY-THREE!
As if finishing up work, getting ready for a double header wedding weekend, dealing with a flooded garage from Nicole, a leaking back door and tearing up our floors, about to head out of town for a week, coming back in just in time for my wedding shower and bachelorette parties then being here 5 days before leaving for a weekend trip to the OBX and coming home 2 days before my parents arrive and all hell breaks loose isn't going to be "fun" enough.
Thank you family and friends for making me track down 83 of your butts to see if I should pay for TEN tables, chairs, alcohol, food, centerpieces and whatever else I am trying to do to make your experience wonderful...
Oh, and let's not think about the postage wasted...
Vent over.
