Dealing w/ Customs- Artifical Flowers, Cake Toppers

alidodson35@gmail.com:  Congrats!! We are going to Jamaica as well. I have heard of the customs cost but I am not sure how it applies to the bouquet cake toppers ect. I assume if its in your suite case or carry on it wouldn’t be subject to the customs cost since you would be bringing it back with you I think the cost may be on bulk items… I would be doing the same so this is a really good question. Are you doing it a resort? I have a phone meeting with my planner next month and I will find out from her on the customs.

alidodson35@gmail.com:  your weding planner shoud be able to help with that information. Jamaica’s Customs and Border website isn’t very clear on what they would charge duty and taxes on, but they do seem to have a lot of different taxes.
