@graygodess20:  2 cycles isn’t many. An average woman takes a year. You can increase your chances by doing the deed every other day or every third day until you get a BFP. But don’t be hard on yourself or compare yourself because your friend or family member could have been trying for a long time to get pregnant. It happens but it’s rare to get pregnant the first or second cycle trying.

@graygodess20:  I know. You would think that after all of the warnings we got as young girls that everyone turns up pregnant immediately after having unprotected sex just once. So many things have to come together and you really only have an average chance of 8 percent each time you have sex. But that is an average and most days your chance is zero because there isn’t an egg to fertilize. I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility to get a better idea of how everything works. It definitely boosted my confidence and reduced a lot of concerns.

First it sounds like you are ovulating. Yay!

Second you may have missed your fertile window by stopping when you did. After you ovulate most women start their period within 12 days. Keep that in mind on the next cycle to make sure you keep BDing until a day or two past the day you probably ovulated on your last cycle.

You may also want to consider tempting but that can increase your stress levels when you’re trying to interpret your charts.
