My sister (Trixie Jean in the comments, Sunny Bunny in my posts) and I are tizzight! She's 2 years younger and lives in Cali, so it really sucks sometimes. Fortunately our current jobs allow us to chat online all day long. It's super fun reading Weddingbee together and exchanging links. She's been so great -- always wiling to listen to me jabber on about wedding stuff, etc.

She's coming home in just a few hours for the wedding and tomorrow night she's in charge of the bachelorette! SO excited!

If you're close to your siblings, how do you stay in touch?

I am SO CLOSE to my sisters & mom - I hate that they live in Ohio while I'm in Chicago.  We talk some & email a lot.  I talk to my mom the most - I just am not a phone person, though!

It sounds funny, but thank goodness for Facebook, email and IM!  It keeps us all in the loop

I am really close with my sisters too.  We are all really spread out in age though... 14, 20, and 25, so we're all at different stages of our lives.  They are super supportive with the wedding stuff, even though they cannot even fathom getting married themselves at this point.  We text, email and talk on the phone quite a bit.  I don't know what I'd do without them!

Ms. Bunny, I think it's so great that you and you sister have WeddingBee in common.  My twin sister and I are SUPER close and I can't even fathom living far away from her.  We live 7 miles apart right now, and that's the furthest we've ever lived from one another.  The longest I've ever gone without talking/texting her was on my honeymoon.  I think I made it a day and a half without checking in with her!  We text or gmail chat most days and see each other at least 3 times a week.

I am SUPER close with my three older sisters. They are my best friends. The thing is, I just moved across the country (literally from NY to CA) and I miss them so much it hurts sometimes. I'm here being supportive of FI and his new job but its really tough being away from my family who I am so close with!

I have two older brothers, and while I'm definitely closer to one than the other, we all have an amazing relationship. They both live across the country (in CA, while I live in Boston).

The oldest one has lived there for four years and we rarely see each other, except when we're both visiting our parents in PA.  He joined Facebook recently, and we communicate that way quite a bit now.  (I really don't enjoy talking on the phone at all, so I'm not the type to just call and say, "what's up?")  I also send him random things via postal mail now and then.

The other one lived in PA until about a month ago, when he moved to CA as well. We also only saw each other when I went to PA (which is not more than 2 or 3 weekends a year), or a couple of times when he visited friends in this area.  We don't talk much aside from birthday phone calls, etc., but it's not that we don't love each other; it's just that neither of us is really comfortable talking on the phone.

I love both of them tremendously, and especially enjoy being with them now that I'm older and not seen as much as "the baby sister."  FI and I just booked a trip to go see them in Sept and I am PUMPED!!

My brothers and I are fairly close, but it's more in the way where you pick right back up when you're together, not keeping in touch a whole lot. Mostly we chat online or exchange Facebook messages, sending each other funny pictures we think the others will appreciate. I get the family news from my mom, who I still talk to on the phone at least an hour a week. I love my mom, she's definitely one of my best friends. :)

I've got 3 older brothers. The one closest to my age is the one I'm closest to. We keep in contact through Facebook and my SIL! And I babysitt his little girls as much as I can. The oldest brother, we email once in awhile, talk on the phone every few months, and see each other on holidays. The second oldest doesn't stay in contact with the rest of us do to some family drama way in the past.
