And no DH does not stand for dear husband today.
I’d really like to kick you right now, but I can’t feel my feet.
You know how petrified my boss is that I’m going to go into labor in the office, even though the fire department is 2 minutes away, the police department is next door, our house is 1.5 miles down the road and my parents are 3 miles away. You still felt the need to call him and tell him that you’ve put me back on bedrest and I have to work half days? Are you f*cking kidding me???
So my feet, ankles, calves, and knees swell by the end of the day, I’m almost 30 flipping pounds heavier than I’ve ever been in my life, what do you expect my lower extremities to do? So now thanks to your decision and phone call I get to leave at noon, sure I could get a lot done with the extra time, like laundry, dusting, organizing, but NOOOO you also called my Mother and now she’s going to be checking in on me to make sure that I’m sitting on my ass with my legs propped over my head and contorted enough to keep an icepack on them.
I could really hurt you today, so please do not come home and make a drink and sit down next to me with it. You’ll probably end up wearing it.
Anyone else’s “dh” getting on their nerves?

Sorry, but I can’t help but laugh a little..
He’s being really sweet if you think of it and only doing it because he cares about you. I know this isn’t what you want to hear right now! 🙂

I know he is 😉 It really irritated me this morning though, lol!

LOL, i work with my Dh and he has decided… (after the OB told me to take it easy, only 12 days left until C section day) that i should prop my feet up and teach him how to do laundry, etc. I am actually greatful, this is the first time during my pregnancy that he has actually acknowledged it might be a good idea if i rest up before the big day.

@StbHisMrs: Your DH (and I mean “dear husband”) is super sweet, but I’d wanna murder my FI if he ever called my boss lol!

@jjmomma: yeah that’s what I was referring too 😉
@octobermom: Hmm I’d be worried if he attempted laundry, I’ve seen what his daughters clothes look like after he does the laundry. He is only allowed to do his 😉
@MrsCarnival: yep I was not a happy camper when I was informed of that!
