Why oh why did it take me threatening to report the transaction to Etsy to get a response from you?
I love your product and would love to gift them. I have contacted you nicely numerous times in the past month and have not heard a single peep. Yet the second I threatened to report to Etsy I heard back within TWO minutes. Sigh.
You promised to get them in my hands by the end of the month. To post a sample picture within ONE day. Please pull through. I really do not want to worry about this anymore. 🙁
Anyone else has Etsy ordering woes?

This is ridiculous!
I have never heard of a *bad* Esty vendor (personally).
I mean, I can understand if there was an emergency, or a HUGE amount of custom orders came in etc. but it literally takes two minutes to send off an email to let your customers know about delays. It takes about another two to be gracious and offer a refund or partial discount due to unexpected wait times.
I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time communicating with your vendor, are there any comments in their feedback that mention similar difficulties or wait times?
I hope you get your order in a timely fashion!

I know this is the worst feeling… no phone number, no way to walk in the store and have a tantrum… good luck! It will work. 🙂

I had ONE bad etsy vendor, and ended up being out the money, they never got back with etsy either and then got banned. by the time it all got reserved it was too late to get my money back from paypal.

I have had one bad Etsy experience (out of the 20+ I’ve had). It was a Christmas gift for my best friend. The seller took the order and I messaged her asking if she could rush the order as I needed it by next week. She messaged me back saying it was no problem. I never received the item (like the MANY other people who ordered at the same time I did). Etsy closed down her account after all the complaints. She disappeared. I did get my money back from Paypal, though!

Wow! This is the first I am hearing of someone having a bad experience on Etsy. Not to say it hasn’t happened many times before.
sorry to hear that they are not being a responsible seller and that it basically took a threat to get them moving. Keep shopping Etsy though! It’s such a great sight with so many wonderful sellers!

I had something happen too – I loved gloves from a seller but they weren’t making me pay til the gloves were made and surprise surprise – no image from them and they are horrible at responding. I messaged again saying I was being more than patient and would appreciate seeing a picture and never got a response again.

Please don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Etsy and generally speaking this vendor has had great reviews. Except for the last couple months. It’s due largely to a local natural catastrophe and I think because she was recently featured on Etsy so her shop really took off. Compound all that I’m sure she was falling behind. Which I was trying to be understanding about which is why I contacted her nicely a couple times. But I never heard a single peep from her. And I saw that she was updating her shop, creating new listings etc. So she must’ve seen my messages but chose to ignore them until I made a threat. Buyers were saying she made promises of a short turn around time then it took up to four months for some to get their item! And sometimes it was wrong. I just felt that if she was behind she should not have promised me my item by a certain date. Then when I try to confirm never respond.
I really hope she pulls through!
But besides this once incident by experience with Etsy thus far has been fantastic as well!
