Aww! Last year around easter FI and I both had pink eye in BOTH eyes! His eyes were so bad that they were dripping puss down his face and the doctor at the ER actually said “I diagnose this is GROSS” and called in a bunch of interns to see it! It was so funny!

Good luck tho!

@SoontobeMrsA: awww, I hope your eye gets better soon.  It sucks when your body ruins your plans for the day.  Up until 2 years ago, I had a flu Every Single V-day for 10 years!  It really sucked 😛

You poor thing! I hope something helps or rsoothes/relaxes it! I hate that! And it seems like the more upset you get the worse it gets! Maybe some chilled/sliced cucumbers!? No idea, just a guess!

I hope you and your hubs, regardless of your eye, have a wonderful Valentines Day together!

@SoontobeMrsA: Only tought of it for the “cooling effect”, and I can only imagine eye drops making it worse, by irritating and swooshing what ever small fragment is lingering about in your eye.

What a bad start to your Valentine’s day!  Another suggestion for irritated/pink eye is just lay back with a cold compress on your eye.  Keep a washcloth cold by dipping it in ice water every couple minutes then putting back on your eye.  Also, if you have plain tea bags, you can soak them in ice water for a while and put them on your eye.  The tea contains something (tanins I think?) that reduce swelling and redness.  Hope you feel better soon!

I am also a one eyed monster but it is because I have a stye on my left eye.

Have you changed any of your makeup, face lotion, face wash etc? That could be it. It is also possible that you have an eyelash stuck in your eye that you can’t find. If you think this is the case try to do an eye wash on yoursef. If you are comfortable with it try lightly rubing a q-tip on your eye to see if there is something stuck in there.
