First, I would like to thank you for designing such pretty things. But I do have a tiny, little, easy peasy request.
You make two lovely shoes, the Lissa and the Lacie.
Very similar, yes? Would you kindly do me the favor of making the higher heel like the Lissa in the D’orsay like the Lacie? Such a minor change, I’m sure it would be no problem for you, right?
The other dilemma is that, you see, seafoam is not one of my wedding colors. Believe it or not, I have been contemplating adding it to my scheme for a few days now as I found gorgeous patterned fabric at Jo-Ann’s that would make great table runners. And there is something very fresh about seafoam and the peachy coral that I plan to use for flowers. But my bridesmaids and groomsmen are going to be in black formal wear, and that is the kind of color palette better saved for linen suits perhaps? So, if you wouldn’t mind making the Lacie cut in the Lissa height and perhaps coloring it that lovely pinky blush that I know you do so well from the Randees, and we’ll be in business!
My deepest appreciation.

I seriously added in gold because I had to have my shoes. There was no gold in the color scheme….until I forced it in so that I could justify the shoes.
That being said, I hope that Mr. Badley and Mr. Mischka listen to your letter. Because those are beautiful shoes.

@NauticalBride2011: hehe thanks. At least gold is a neutral though!
I do really really like this seafoam color, but it would be a no-brainer if they were pink. But then when I think about the other ways I could add it — ribbon on the bouquets, etc, I think it would look so nice and summery with my milkglass and burlap decor.

@Amaryllis: I hope Mr. Badgley and Mr. Mischka consider delving into the royal blues some day…Haha
On another note, I have literally been considering bending my colors as well just for Lissa! They are beautiful on (have you tried them on?), and the color is so pretty!

I added purple because it was the only color napkin I liked at the venue… lol. rock on 🙂

@Amaryllis: I actually think the color is gorgeous. Plus…you can call it an “accent” color hah. And I think seafoam green, white and burlap would look GORGEOUS. And you could find some seaform-colored milkglasses….like this….hah

@CorgiTales: haha just goes to show how great it can look. I definitely thought it was intentionally your colors all along. 🙂
@NauticalBride2011: I have like 65 vases already. It’s like an addiction; I need to stop getting more!
@pengoala: Considering all the “Something Blue” brides, it is surprising that they haven’t gone in that direction yet. I live in the sticks, so nope, no where around here carries them at all. I’d have to order them. Have you tried them on yet? Also…. dooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. You should totally change your colors to include it; validate me in my own crazy world.

I’m resurrecting this rather than starting a new thread. I am seriously considering it now.
Would you add that color with peachy flowers and black bridesmaids dresses?

Have you seen the Lissa in person? They are beautiful but freakishly high. I can rock some pretty high heels, but those were painful just to stand in for a few seconds.

Out of curiousity, why don’t you just buy it in white and dye it to match your colors? And where did you find the seafoam ones anyway? I’ve only found white, black, champagne, and pewter, platinum on the Zappos/Nordstrom sites.

I voted to add it (and I am the only one, weird). I think it would go perfectly with your colours! Seafoam is so pretty, and is almost a neutral anyway. It would look geat with almost anything. Do it!

They are BOTH gorgeous shoes. The colour is really pretty.

I just bought the Lacie in seafoam. They’re beautiful.

@IAmLemondrop: I have to be honest — even though it seems totally legit, I don’t trust the results. It makes sense that they are capable of being dyed, but dyed shoes are not returnable, so you can’t be guaranteed that the color will match the swatch, and I have no idea how they would remove and then reattach the decoration. The seafoam color is available from Zappos Couture, Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom’s.
@blg529: I haven’t; as I said, I would have to order them to test out. I see conflicting reports on the height of the heel. I am fine in 4 1/4″ so it would depend on how the arch feels, I guess. It’s a risk I’d be willing to at least test out!
@pohget: Thanks! I think it would just be little accents here and there anywhere.
