Awww. Congratulations! You looked beautiful - love your veil and hair flowers.
Glad you found the Hive to be a friendly place - it's such a great community
Looks like you did a fantastic job for such a short planning period, congrats!
Yay to a fellow ten ten ten'er! Your wedding was gorgeous :) And I have to give a hearty "heck yeah" to your shout-out.
FYI, you look SMOKIN'!
Everything looks great for such a short time period. And congrats!
Omg you are stunning!!! I love everything! And ditto your shout out!!
Congrats! You look wonderful and I LOVE your hair flower and veil.
Mmm that's not PUMPKIN PIE is it?!?! Yum!
Awesome pictures, and congrats for pulling it off in only three months!
@jenbrandner: Your eyes do not deceive you, that is indeed pumpkin pie. It was one of the three things my husband (!!) insisted on: 1) Pumpkin Pie 2) Apple Cider 3) That he and his groomsmen wear tuxedos. I would have been perfectly content with suits, but as he repeatedly put it " 'Coz every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man". (No really, he would sing it. Every single time).
Thanks so much to everyone else. It was a stressful few months, but we had a lot of help, from friends (a baker friend made the cupcakes and the tree) to my mother in law (who found us a caterer willing to make a full Thanksgiving dinner for a very reasonable price). A lot of things didn't go as planned, but in the end, we were married, and that's the important part.
Congrats! Your wedding looks beautiful!
Btw, is that dress from David's Bridal? If so, that's my dress too-- I'm just adding a sash to it. It looks beautiful on you! Was it comfortable?
Congratulations! Looks like an awesome day! I'm totally impressed by your full Thanksgiving dinner, I had really wanted a 10-10-10 full Thanksgiving wedding too, but since it was also my birthday and DH really wanted an outdoor wedding we decided on September instead. I love the pumpkin pie and apple cider! So awesome!
@JenniMichele: It is from David's Bridal, and was quite comfortable. I didn't have any problems sitting in it or anything. I did have a problem with threads coming loose and the pearls on them falling off. The night before the wedding, my MOH had me stand in it while she "pasted" all the loose threads down with clear nail polish. I also had a small problem with dried leaves getting caught in the train, but that was my fault for having the train out walking outside over dried leaves. Overall, I loved the dress, I loved the way it fit, everyone thought it was way more expensive than it actually was.
@Mrs Sarah McK: Awesome, thanks for the heads up about the pearl-- I'll keep that in mind. You look beautiful in it. :)
Congrats - I love your flower girl's dress, it is so cute!
congratulations on finally being done! don't leave us, come back and visit!
Congratulations! Your wedding definitely does NOT look like you pulled it all together in only 3 months... Everything looks fabulous!
@theeekingeek: I raided the fall floral department at Michael's for my bouquet, my girls' bouquets, the boutonnières and the corsages for our mothers and grandmothers. I'm not really a flower girl, and decided I'd rather have something that I can keep longer than a few days. Plus, it was insanely cheaper. I think I spent just over $100 for all the flowers.
Beautiful photos! Is your flower girl in an orange tutu? Awesome!
Love the pics! Thanks for the shout out! and your dress is amazing. . .I think that covers everything
@Mrs Sarah McK: speaking of flower girl, her dress is so cute! where'd ya get it?
@elliestan: My sister-in-law made it. This was the inspiration photo I emailed her: http://www.projectwedding.com/photo/browse?photo_to_show=2346740&sort=newest&tag=orange&thumbs_page=18
She bought a couple yards of fabric (mostly tulle), cut it into strips, and knotted one end of them onto a piece of elastic, and layered the strips all around it, attached it to a simple halter, and then sewed the flowers onto it. Aptly named Lily looked like she was floating all day. Sorry, don't know the technical terms, not much of a seamstress myself.

I wanted to take a moment to thank this wonderful, supportive community. There is no way I would have been able to plan my wedding in three months if I didn't have this place to come to when the stress got to be too much.
