PS the plates are pretty--simple, chic, all the good stuff. I found a mirror i wanted but it was $750 and i was like "ek, no".

Oooh I'm jealous! I still have the burn-your-hand-despite-being-allegedly "microwave safe" variety. Definitely looking forward to an upgrade!

I know we have only been together a few weeks, but i need to come out and say it. I love you. you are worth every penny. you stack in the dishwasher and you look nice in my cupboard. but this dear white pottery barn dishes is why i truly love you. you DO NOT get hot in the microwave! yesterday i microwaved you with a piece of pizza, and when the nice warm pizza came off the plate- it was still cold! no more burnt hands for me and my husband. I am so glad I registered for you and even more glad I bought you with all our giftcards. don't tell the food processor, but you were my favorite gift.
