I think marigold and eggplant would look really nice by candlelight!

If your not keen on ‘winter’ colours, maybe try looking at what are traditionally more autum colours? Or just pick some colours you think, and then think about the hue, dark, light, brunt etc.

I also think gold would be niceunder candlelight!

i like the gray and gold idea =]

or even gray and gold.

 

yellow and a deep shade of blue could work

I think that you could do marigold, eggplant, gold and a warm grey if you wanted.  Don’t do a cool grey though, it will throw off the scheme.

The gold brings in a touch of the holiday/ winter season, without being obvious.  And you can bring in as much of the holiday as you want in decoration.
