I STILL haven't gotten a call that my dress has come in yet. I ordered it at the beginning of May and they told me it would take 6 months to come in. I freaked out a bit because thats would make it less then a month before the wedding, but I was reassured by multiple people that it should be in much earlier. Well, we're about to embark on month #5 and nothing yet. I went into the bridal shop over a month ago with my MOH to pick up her dress and the braud told me that I should be getting a call by the next month (Sept). She also mentioned that even if it comes in a bit later, alterations shouldn't take that long (within a couple days) because its the slow season.

I'm not quite freaking out yet. I'm hoping I get a call ASAP but I'm not sure if I should start pushing to find out where it is yet? So therefore, fellow December Brides, has your dress come in yet?

I ordered my dress the first week of June and it is scheduled to arrive in Toronto October 17th and then it will be shipped to my bridal salon in NB.  We'll see if it even arrives by then, but it seems pretty true to the 6 month thing, unfortunately.

I am kind of freaked about it too, but there's not much I can do, besides hope and pray :)

I bought my dress really early, so it came in in June. I had my first fitting a couple weeks ago and I love it now as much as or more than the first time I saw it!

If the shop said 6 months, I wouldn't start worrying yet--usually they're spot on in terms of predicting when the dress can come in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, though!

As long as you still have times for alterations, I'm sure it will be fine! I ordered in April and my dress came in way earlier than expected (just a few weeks later).

Mine came in really quickly as well.  I am having my 1st fitting this week!  If they assure you that they came do the alterations quickly for you, I would try not to stress out too much.

Mine JUST came in! I ordered in late January so that took a really long time. I was starting to get worried!

I tried it on yesterday---it's very fitted on top, so I think I may need to shed a few pounds, but it did zip, thank goodness! I am absolutely in love with it.

    So soon ladies!!

Mine came in back in July, but it's because I ordered it last October. My first fitting is next weekend =)

I am going for my second fitting on October 18th for a December 30th wedding.  I will probably need at least one more fitting after that.  I just want it to be perfect already!

I've had 2 fittings already, and have another scheduled for this coming Friday.  I hope I finally get to take my dress home!

I've had mine for a while, but my alterations were very quick.

I should be going to pick mine up from the atlerations sometime in the next two weeks. Mine were super easy though. No adjustements to the dress needed, just added a one point over bustle.

I am doing my fitting in early December, but I just need the best taken in a tiny bit and a bustle added.  Easy peasy!

I'm picking mine up today! =) I think my reception dress will need to be taken in a little more though, not that I'm losing a lot of weight (I wish!) but my seamstress was hesistant on taking the top in until after I tried it on with the fitted bra cups she put in.

I ordered my dress in June and somehow got it in July, even though they also estimated 6 months. It fits me like a glove, BUT it's farrrrr to long. I still have yet to take it to get it altered....do y'all think I will still have time if I take it this weekend??!?!

I ordered my dress in March and it arrived in August.  Because I keep losing weight, my alterations lady doesn't want to do my first fitting until early December!  That still gives her a whole month but it makes me a little nervous as well!

I finally decided on my dress two weeks before the wedding.  The alterations are still being done and will be completed 3 days before the wedding.  The seamstress needed a week, but did not charge me extra.  I was so glad.
