We mailed ours on Friday and got 1 hand delivered back, we we saw one of our good friends on Sunday so they just gave them back so 2 yeses for us! =) I'm excited to check the mail today. lol
The fact that this thread already exists is throwing me into a to-do list panic...time is moving too quickly! I remember seeing RSVP threads 9 months ago for other date twins and thinking December was so far away. My mom got our postage measured out today and is taking the invites to be hand-canceled on Monday. Eeks! I can't wait to find out who's coming :)
We had our return address on our Response cards going to FI's parents house. We are renting and we arnt sure how much longer we will be living here so its just easier to have them send there. We wont be going down to their house until Saturday. Talk about anxious. We plan on going down once a week until our RSVP cut off date. I cant wait to see them, Im going to be like a kid in a candy store when I open them
I went to check the mail yesterday and I felt like a kid coming down Christmas morning to check her stocking. I was all giddy when I saw THREE RSVP cards. =D Can't wait to check the mail today!
@MaraBeth: Agreed *panics* lol. FI hasn't even gotten all the addresses yet. OMG lol
@honeyoats22: Oh good, I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I've been checking things off my list every day but I still feel like I'm always a few minutes away from full blown panic--so much to do, so little time to do it!
we just mailed our wedding invitations out yesterday. i'm super excited to get some RSVPs back! (ps i see a couple other dec 3 brides here! yay!)
@vintagemodernbride: Yay, another date twin :) We're mailing ours out on Monday!
@CherryWaves: We are almost twin dates. Congrats! Seeing the first RSVP card made me cry. I was so excited. I totally get the "it seems real" feeling.
Well I got a few RSVP back, and from knowing who of my immediate family will most likely be there, I already have the count at 34. I am excited. But I am not getting the exactly reception I want so I'm a bit miffed at that. Since I have no income or way of paying for it, my Grandmother is paying for it, but as all things, she has always been the type "I'm paying for it, I get a say in everything" which has turned out to be fights and more fights. And then just me giving it up.
oops sorry for the rant. Its just in my head and had to get it out.

I know it's uber early, but I've already heard from 15 people all RSVPing YES! Maybe its quicker because we did phone numbers and email... but it's totally making it seem even more real!!
How 'bout you, fellow December bees??
