I'm December 18th too! I'm planning some centerpieces with manzanita and some silver and gold ornaments like these: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf54541769.tip.html but smaller and less points hanging from the branches. On the other tables I want amaryllises in pots. Where are you girls getting married?

    Those centerpieces are so fun!

We're in Omaha Nebraska (met in college and still living here) and planning a wedding with mainly OOT guests. We're hoping to get our STDs out soon, but I cant decide on colors or the over all feel I want for the wedding which is making that a bit difficult.

How much have you girls accomplished so far?

    So far we have:

    -Venue booked

-Wedding dress picked out (I'm going with the BM's in a couple weeks to get sized/order our dresses)

    -Wedding party chosen/invited

    -Cake/dessert sitch nailed down

    -Photographer booked

-STD's designed, just need to get them printed/sent (hopefully in the next week and a half!)

    -"Wedsite" under construction

-Music situation figured out (iPod DJ, he he)

-FSIL is a hair stylist and will be doing our hair, so that's under control

Now we need to do EVERYTHING else! Luckily, with the exception of booking a florist and a caterer, I think we're pretty close to being up to speed. Oh, and reserving a block of hotels.

    How about you ladies?

Hey twins! We are from Jonesboro, AR, where we met in college! He is moving to Little Rock in August for med school, and I will move when we get married. Oh yeah... I am also GRADUATING COLLEGE on my wedding day.. AHHH!!

Anyway, I need some centerpiece ideas, too! And flowers--- what flowers are in season in December?? Besides poinsettias? My church will be lined with those (not sure if I'm happy about that, but they do it every year around Christmas), and my colors are navy and gold. Help!

Also, everyone I talk to about STDs acts like it's too early for me to send them out. They're addressed and stamped and going in the mail tomorrow morning. Is it really too early to send them???

Oh yeah, my FMIL is a control freak!!!! And my FI is a huge momma's boy. Any advice?? I am actually dreading moving to Little Rock because his mom will only be thirty minutes away, instead of 2.5 hours, and his sister will be in grad school there, which gives her even more of an excuse to come visit..

@msjj: also your December 18th twin...I am just now starting to plan!  A little worried about it.... I am a teacher, so it's the only date the Catholic church could marry us during my vacations...

@msjj: Oh, I am trying to get as much stuff done as I can too before school starts! I didn't start planning til this summer due to various reasons:( So I am a bit stressed.

So far I have reception, catering, church, wedding dress done so far...Next is bridesmaid dresses(going to rush order)..still trying to decide on my colors!

I am thinking Regency (a medium purple from Davids Bridal)..however my sisters(bridesmaids) were turned off on purple:(..my favorite color.

    OR

Jade(fiance likes this)...I am thinking Jade since it is like a seagreen color(a different shade of green) and apple (a darker red) so that it kinda goes with xmas/winter colors but is not the exact shades of xmas colors

yay! I'm Dec. 18, too!! I think it's a great date. Our colors are copper, burnt orange and cream. We're doing lots of trees, hung with candles- the ceremony will be all candlelight.

    138 days!!

I'm December 18th too!  My b-day is the 28th, so FH is excited about having 10 days of craziness (anniversary, Christmas and birthday) and then can relax allllll year long.

I have done soooo much wedding stuff over the summer, but now its back to teaching!  Hope I can be organized enough...
