As you know from the other thread, I am! 🙂 Where are the other Clomid bees??

I took 100mg from days 4-8, along with progesterone on days 15-25. I’m on cycle day 26 now.

We only BD’s O -4 and day of O and day after O, so my chances aren’t great for this cycle. :-/

I’m going to buy preseed for the next cycle b/c dryness was a problem this time around.

Also, I did not have a lot of side effects-no night sweats or headaches, but I was extremely moody for around a week.

My wife will be taking clomid again this month. We just started TTC this last cycle. Today is CD 1. She’ll be taking 50mg on days 5-9 again and we’ll hopefully be inseminating again on about 12/28. This past cycle she ovulated for the first time in a year! Dx with PCOS in July. FX for all the clomid bees and all the other future bee mamas out there!

I am currently on my second last day of Provera, and will start taking my first round of clomid when AF arrives (for the first time in over a year). I will also be on 50mg days 5-9. I also have PCOS! My expectations aren’t very high for this first round, but it would be nice if it worked within the first few tries!

@BakeosaurusRex:  That’s how I feel, I’m not too faithful that it will work on the first try, but I’m hoping it won’t take longer than 3 tries! 🙂

FX for everyone!!

This is my 4th round of Clomid 50mg (I ovulate on my own but hoping Clomid will bring on stronger O) and had my 4th IUI this morning. I get the occassional dizziness, blurred vision and hot flash from Clomid but it is manageable. Good luck ladies, baby dust and Christmas miracles to all!

@peachbaby4008:  Yes, she’s taking 1000 mg of metformin. The doctor has also advised following a paleo diet the best we can. Yeah…that’s not so easy this time of year! Not to mention the fact that I love to bake! Has the metformin seemed to help you at all? We’re not sure if it’s doing anything for her. She’s also taking Pregnitude (which is a folic acid and myo inositol supplement) and Pregnancy Prep (which has vitex and red raspberry leaf among other things) and prenatals of course. Are you doing anything else besides the clomid and metformin?

I took it for the first time this month, 50mg days 3-7. I go months at a time, even a year and a half at one point with no period. It’s been getting more regular, but we have been trying since July/august with no luck. I’m on 8dpo today, so  fingers crossed that I’ll find something soon!!!!!

Agreed, what’s the word ladies?

I have PCOS too. Went off BCP in Sept and have been taking Metformin at 1500mg/day. Ive had 2 periods since on a 35 and 33 day cycles. Now at CD40 and nada. I know that’s not completely unusual but can’t help but feel like I’m in limbo. Have been researching clomid a lot lately and think I might be a candidate for it sooner than later.

Were you ladies all able to get a script from your OBGyn or does an RE have to prescribe? Hope you all received good news!

@Kabatchy2be:  I’m only on my first cycle of clomid (3rd pill today) so I’m no expert, but I wanted to let you know that my gynecologist prescribed them to me. I told him my cycles are really irregular, so he sent me for an ultrasound and blood work. He diagnosed me with pcos and gave me provera to start AF and then 6 months worth of clomid. I think the difference is that if an RE prescribes it to you, they monitor you on it.

@sheclicksherheels:  that’s what I thought, thanks! I was diagnosed 14 years ago now and have had plenty of ultrasounds since. Made an appt with my Gyn for the 20th to discuss assuming I don’t get AF still. How many cycles of clomid have you taken?
